안녕하세요 정그라미입니다. KBS 2TV에서 방영된 뮤직 토크쇼 '더 시즌즈 악뮤의 오날오밤'에 엑소 디오가 출연했는데요! 디오가 악뮤 이수현과 부른 콜라보 듀엣 'Rewrite The Stars'가 많은 화제가 되고 있습니다.

 

'Rewrite The Stars'는 뮤지컬 영화 <위대한 쇼맨>의 ost로 영화에 출연한 배우인 잭 에프론과 젠데이아 콜먼의 듀엣곡으로 유명한 팝송입니다. 저는 영화 <위대한 쇼맨>을 보지 않아서 몰랐는데, 엑소 디오와 악동뮤지션 수현이 악뮤의 오날오밤에서 부른 영상을 보고 노래가 너무 좋아서 원곡을 찾아봤어요. 운명을 바꿀 수 있다는 아름다운 가사와 멜로디로, 이 노래때문에 영화 <위대한 쇼맨>을 여러번 봤다는 사람들도 있을 정도더라고요. 
 

악뮤의 오날오밤에서 디오는 " ('Rewrite The Stars'가) 개인적으로 정말 좋아하는 노래이고 그 장면을 제가 영화 중에서 가장 좋아하는데, 제가 남자들(엑소 멤버들)이랑만 있다 보니까 (노래를 부를) 기회가 없었다. 그래서 이 기회에 수현씨에게 부탁을 드리고 싶다"고 말했으며, 이수현도 "안그래도 이 노래가 제가 영화가 나왔을 때부터 너무 커버하고 싶었는데, 이걸 부를 수 있는 남성보컬이 없어서 못부르고 있었다. 드디어 저도 여기서 소원을 풀 수 있게 됐다"고 답했습니다. 이에 악뮤 이찬혁은 "'도'경수와 이'수'현이 치료해주는 음악"이라며 '도수치료'라고 팀 이름을 지어주며 웃음을 안겼습니다. 
 
중저음으로 따뜻한 목소리를 가진 엑소 디오와 싱그러우면서도 감미로운 목소리의 수현의 목소리 합이 너무 좋더라고요! 개인적으로는 원곡보다도 좋은 느낌ㅎㅎ 악뮤의 오날오밤에서는 짧게 불렀는데, 디오와 수현이 꼭 완곡커버를 해줬으면 좋겠네요. 제가 요즘 하루에 한번씩 듣고 있는 디오와 수현의 'Rewrite The Stars'는 아래 영상에서 확인할 수 있습니다.
